In Context

Very poignant to see the first set of Govan Flags in their wider context. This is the back of Govan Cross - which for more than 1000 years has been the centre of gravity of Govan - this was the processional way between the Church and Parliament Hill of the early Mediaeval Kings of Strathclyde and then the site of the very first shipyard in Govan. Any small insertion here seems to demand an answer about the future of this magical place.
